A single egg of Shadow and Jackie’s second clutch of 2026 after their first was breached by ravens in late January. One of the eagles is perched on a branch nearby (behind the nest in this POV) silhouetted between the nest and the lake far below in the light of dawn.
One of the eagles centered in the nest, keeping their egg warm in the winter weather. Snow is on the ground below, but the nest is clear of it. I think it’s Jackie, but I’m not good at telling them apart yet.
