Blighted Legacy by EtherealWill Summary: Yuri made the lonely trek up the long road leading into the Varley estate on a young silver-coated mare, carrying only a few personal effects. He squinted into the haze with some concern; it shouldn't be this foggy in the afternoon. The grounds had changed quite a bit over the years: instead of the lush sea of reds and burnt orange he expected to see near the end of the Wyvern Moon, the trees surrounding him appeared half dead, rotting from the inside, branches twisting as if they were under duress. There were no cardinals singing or raccoons foraging. Instead, an oppressive silence wrapped its tendrils around everything, threatening to strangle anything in sight. Yuri felt a chill run through him, though whether from the odious atmosphere or the chilly, whispery breeze that somehow cut through his cape, he couldn't say. Yuri suspected with an ache felt deep within his bones that Rhea's intuition was correct: something was wrong here.

IT'S A SIN roxast Summary: It's hard to remember now, but it started as wind. A cool rush of air, easy enough to miss depending on the terrain, but otherwise a relief in the heat of battle. Short-lived, when soon the breeze was accompanied by the sound of a mirror being shattered. A shock to the system, quickly righted. The months of battle before Gronder live inside Dimitri as broken glass swept into a pile but left on the floor. In bits and pieces, forgotten, until stepped on. Again time stops.
