Game four of the #ForceOnForce campaign was a night rescue with intel received the POW's were being held in a Tamarud Alghurab compound. Hummers sped through the dark streets whilst an M2 smashed through the compound wall. The POWs were rescued but one rescuer was KIA fighting insurgent fanatics.
Back to Uruq and game three of @andycrow.bsky.social & my ongoing #ForceOnForce campaign saw the US forces falling back through the city. The mission went smoothly, with three Fire Teams reaching safety with no casualties, but the appearance of an insurgent mob saw FT4 cut off and captured!

Finished the cheap (£2.50 each) 1/72 Chinese HMMWV kits (two with 3D printed .50 cal turrets). Really happy with how these of painted up given the silly price, off to suppress the Tamarud Alghurab in Uruq on Tuesday... 🇺🇸

Game two in our #ForceOnForce campaign saw the US forces tasked with capturing & holding an objective in Tamarud Alghurab territory.
The open space seemed to offer a problem for the US forces but worked in their favour as 3 fire teams and an AAVP mainly stood on Overwatch taking out insurgents...

Game one started well for the US, moving swiftly through the town, an insurgent IED in a truck failing to go off and the target asset captured...

Back to the liberation of Uruk last night with @andycrow.bsky.social relearning #ForceOnForce. What felt like a tight battle with the US losing one KIA, four WIA and accidentally shooting a civilian but completing their mission resulting in a decisive victory over the Tamarud Alghurab insurgents!
I had the day off work yesterday so we played Force on Force (or Fours on Fours as I know call it) again. We replayed the Mexican drug war scenario from the club the other week and this time my Mexican Army fellas broke up the narcos distribution centre after a prolonged firefight. #forceonforce

Peace through superior firepower… @andycrow.bsky.social and I dusted off #ForceOnForce last night. Good game, the US Marines successfully casevaced two wounded men from “the Candy Store” in the Uruki city of Tallulah, beating off repeated attacks by the Mujahideen and suffering no casualties.
