Lepidodendron fossil with 50 pence for scale

Walking on the beach at Maryport over Christmas, my son found this 300myo Lepidodendron bark fossil. These are arborescent lycophytes, related to club mosses and quillworts, that could grow to 40-50m tall during the Carboniferous period.
