A travelers notebook sized notebook accompanied by a violet TWSBI Mini fountain pen. The notebook is thread bound on the spine, contains 24 sheets, and has a laminated maroon cover.
Various writing samples on a light kraft paper page. I am very surprised at the quality of this last paper and how it's holding up to a fountain pen ink-even under a flex nib - as this is - which has a tendency to be a little scratchy. Also really showing off the when from J. Herbin Emerald of Chivor! Here's Estie 2668 and some sort of mixed J. herbin cyan/olivine. Also to be noted (so far) no bleed-through! Here is my Kaweco B nib with Emerald of Chivor to see if I can make that bleed-through happen. A little bit! But not bad. A broader application shows the underlying blue much better as well.
Random finds at Oomomo always hit and miss. On a whim, I picked up a 2-pack of these traveler nb-sized 'Handy' kraft notebooks by Komoda.
Imagine my surprise that, not only does it take FP inks well, it hasn't feathered so far, nor does it bleed through. *and* it sheens! #fountainpenfriendly
