A large gallon nursery pot with a well draining medium covered with a zipper bag to help maintain moisture. Stems of cuttings with just a few small leaves at the top of each line the outer edge and wooden label inside.

My Ribes x gordonianum is finally established enough to correct the bad form (rubbing stems) it came with when originally shipped so I took the trimmings to try rooting as softwood cuttings. Not my specialty but love an experiment!

Three little sunflower plants in a dark brown pot. One is in full bloom, another just opening, the third still a bud.

3 adorable little sunflowers that popped up in this pot alongside a tiny oak sapling I dug up from the lawn. Nearest oak tree is about 500m away at the park.

The sunflowers weren't planted: the seeds must have come from the bird feeder.
