Have been trying out foods to freeze in cubes to make life easier. The black beans & rice reheated well on the stove, but next time, will probably try defrosting in the microwave first. I'd give it a solid 8.9 out of 10. It tasted fresh!

3 stacks of 4 plastic freezer tubs full of goop plus one more perched on top not really full. Behind them is a white tiled kitchen wall with a full magnetic knife rack.

12 × 400g portions for the freezer, a bit left over for lunch plus whet what was eaten yesterday makes the effort quite economic.

Does anyone else make cookies in bulk for later use? Labor now for easy things later? These are s’mores cookies and chocolate chip. I’m also working on a couple of other ones to also put in the freezer for later on.
