Axel and Romeo have been friends for longer they can remember. They went to the same school, pursued the gym badge challenge at the same time and graduated together with flying colours. As adults, they reunite to take a well-earned vacation to Alola, with Romeo riding high as a Pokémon coordinator and Axel becoming a scientific assistant for Professor Juniper back home. But during a outing to view the beauty of the Altar of the Moone, a rogue wormhole goes haywire, with Romeo being pulled into it by a mysterious creature after shoving Axel out of harms way, leaving him with nothing but his friends partner Pokémon, Sylveon. After a month of research and too many late nights, Romeo mysteriously returns, unlike the man that Axel knew him to be. Leading a group of brainwashed sissies with his tiara held high, he vows to make Alola kneel to him, to keep the world beautiful. As the group Sugar (C)rush, nothing will get in his way. With a onslaught of fairy-type trickery and dangerous suits that can make men into monsters, Axel promises to bring Romeo back to his senses. How low will he stoop in the name of justice, and is Romeo truly in control of all of this?
