In Vermont, “gulfs” are elongated ravines threaded by a stream. Most are densely scenic, wild, & have uncanny auras. And I love driving through them!

Pulled over quick to get shots of the brilliant, naturally blue ice forms sticking to the ledges off the Mohawk Trail! My friend thought some rascals had actually come up the mountain to spray paint the ice; it looked so uncanny!
