Take a peek inside my new funny fantasy novel "A Baker's Coven"
The bar itself was being occupied by tall, broad figures, as though someone was erecting a barrier using men and women who resembled the stone slabs sometimes used to make large circles on grassy plains in order to confuse later inhabitants. The monolithic people formed a wall between the drinks on one side and the common room on the other. These farmers, guards, and builders were going to ensure that not a single measure of liquor broke the line. Most of them stood stoically, ordering one tankard after another of dark ale, though occasionally some would break off and move into the corners to drink silently with one another. It was like watching a cliff slowly eroded by a river of beer.
