I actually agree with this. Important caveats in replies, but the vast majority of TTRPGs require the GM to be willing and able to provide what the table is looking for. I've played with bad players and still had fun. I've never had fun with a bad GM. #ttrpg #gamemastery

The most important stats for monsters and NPCs are their motivations and goals.
Knowing the motivations and goals of a creature helps you to use its other attributes and traits to achieve them and improvise on the fly when necessary.
