Tommy the black toy poodle is lying on a beige sofa draped with grey throws. He is gazing (smouldering) directly at the camera and is due for a grooming session. Tommy's right paw is draped over the edge of the sofa and next to him is a large tomato which he grew in his own garden. Behind Tommy is a world globe so he can check out where all his Bluesky pals live, and two Kong bears - a grey one called Barry and a red Xmas one called Tony whose ear muffs defy gravity ❤️ Apparently there is a variety of large tomato called 'Tomkin'. Tommy's tomato is not one of those (we think it is a 'Black Russian variety) and his name is Tompkins with a 'p'! Since taking this photograph yesterday Tompkins has been turned into soup 😋🍅 and Tommy has been to the groomers and been turned into a respectable poodle again.

On Sunday I was given a bag of morello cherries. I spent some time stewing them & have frozen them so for a cherry crumble. There was some liquor left over, so I decanted it.
