Ran outdoors again this morning. It was drizzling and I thought it might help keep me cool. Did it work? Meh.🤷🏿♂️ At least I did better time-wise than I did Wednesday night.

Ran outside today. 3 laps around the hood. 1.25 miles for 200+ calories. Still, maybe that’s why my workout sucked ass. Had no energy. I survived. Barely. Nearly passed out on overhead press, & sucked at heavy bench, but survived. But it sucked ass. And, running outdoors means clothes. Boo.

Pre-MWBF run. Didn’t run yesterday so did 400 calories today. Weak 5 mph with no incline but using the narrow old treadmill that makes me run like I’m in high heels. Haven’t done 400 on it in over a year. Still feel the burn.

Had an appointment at the prep clinic yesterday so didn’t work out. To compensate I ran 3 miles today instead of 1 1/2. 5.9 mph with no incline though. Meh. 🤷🏿♂️

So this was a few weeks ago. I’d skipped running the day before so did 2.75 miles to burn 400 calories. Only 6.1 mph with no incline and on the wide 20” treadmill, but this is what warrants this kind of sweat.

Didn’t get around to posting this. It was Friday morning. Trying to get veriety in my runs so Fridays I do the old narrow treadmill that requires me to run like I’m wearing high heels. I only do 1.25 miles at 5 mph so it shouldn’t wear me down like this.

Chin ups. Front view. Kinda fizzled toward the end. I’ve seen a pully system I might want to try for overhead pull-downs but can’t make any more investments for a month. This’ll have to suffice till then.

Finally got 45 lb plates to streamline workout & not juggle a dozen 25’s. Benching 4 45’s at last but not as cool since the bar isn’t a 45 itself. Still, it feels like progress. Btw the goggles are for some of the rusty flaky 25’s. Didn’t need them here.

I seem to be adapting well to home workouts. It seems a lot of the “heavy lifting” & big #s were done on machines or hybrids, and any free weight stuff gave me similar #s to what I do at home. I think I’ll just expand &/or upgrade my stuff. I’ll need a squat rack & 46 lb plates. We’ll see. 🤷🏿♂️

Ugh! I hate working out at home! I feel like I both cheated and over-exerted at the same time. Everything felt wrong. Too rickety, wobbly, and unnatural. I’ve gotta just spring for Gold’s.

Was adjusting my elbow pad yesterday and thought that my shoulders were growing a bit more defined. It didn’t show up so much on camera but… progress…?🤷🏿♂️

Working up a sweat getting IML ready. Been running 1 1/2 miles lately but chose to do 300 calories worth today which turned out to equal 2 miles almost exactly. 6.1 mph with no incline. 🤦🏿♂️ Still I’ve caught a bit of a cold so not feeling too well so I’ll take it.
