More on TEC's work in this area in this short video. It started when PB John Hines went to a GM shareholder meeting to lay down a resolution on apartheid South Africa. We honored Paul Neuhauser, featured in the video, at a #GC81 luncheon w/ PB Michael Curry.

Thank you, @episcopalpeace.bsky.social! Per #GC81 resolution 2024-A029 (www.vbinder.net/resolutions/...), the Episcopal Church will fully divest from fossil fuels by Dec 31; no-buy list to be updated in 2025 by the Committee on Corporate Social Responsibility, subject to Executive Council approval.
A series of miniature stitched arms of Episcopal dioceses.
Indeed! My current project is miniature arms of each Diocese I’ve made my Communion in. (Because I am That Person, I spent awhile in the alternate pen at #gc81 charting… as many of them as I could.) They’ll be cut apart and mounted in miniature frames.
Somehow it’s been two months since #GC81.
So I’ve decided to write about what we did to the Prayer Book, and where we go from here: askwallace.substack.com/p/towards-a-...
Still mourning the lost of my violently pink hydroflask coffe mug while traveling home from #gc81. It was a good mug but mostly I’m sad bc it had a Theotokos Save Palestine sticker, and they are sold out now.
You can say most cases of COVID aren't as threatening as they used to be. You can say people will no longer support certain precautions. But don't blow smoke about transparency then refuse to acknowledge evidence that at least 10% of both house went home from #gc81 with covid.
Not feeling good about this, part 2 #gc81

Did not GenConCovid™️, probably bc I had it a month ago and am up to my eyeballs in antibodies still. Did find out new medication does not play well with red meat. Hope everyone is healing/getting the meds&help they need #gc81
It’s Day 5 AGC (After #GC81). Still testing negative for Covid; still having legislative process dreams all night.
First hot dog since the oh so contentious #gc81 hot dog resolutions. Not a sandwich but yes to ketchup and all the condiments
No COVID symptoms, multiple negative tests, 100+ hours since my last contact with someone I know tested positive at #gc81…
1. Thank God for masks 😷
2. Prayers for all who are ill
3. Ofc I’ve just mowed the lawn so all of my regular responses (congestion! Migraine!) will make me panic 😱

Not feeling good about how this is being handled. livingchurch.org/news/news-episcopal-chur...
That first post #gc81 pint just hits different. Here’s to a week of rest, writing, bad watercolors and no church politics.
Another reason to respect the Under 40 Caucus: They are taking the lead in trying to get a sense of the scope of the Covid outbreak at #gc81
The Young Adult Caucus is tracking the COVID cases post #gc81. They’re up to 69 already.
Covid isn't as threatening to most folks as it was a few years ago, but it's strange that there was no effort to track infections at #gc81. I know of 5 dozen cases, just through word of mouth and social media. And there's this: www.facebook.com/kate.siberin...
Here’s an excellent review of many of the things accomplished at #gc81

At #gc81, PB-elect Sean Rowe asked us to "let go of the resentment, anger, and grudges that have weakened too much of our leadership" in recent years. I have begun cautious experimentation.

So much of #gc81 went by in a blur at speed, and most of it won’t ever get much news coverage, so I really appreciate @evdoyle.bsky.social‘s keeping track!
I’ve made no effort to learn about COVID cases from #gc81 and am aware of 25 among Deputies alone. Hope none are too bad. We had systematic reporting on 17 cases in HoD in Baltimore. It was a bitter fight to get the precautions in place and I’m grateful to those who fought it.
All of this #gc81
In the days after #gc81, it is easy to forget what we accomplished in our time working together. There are far too many things to list, but let's look at just a few:
Still processing #gc81 spiritually and intellectually, but I'm done photographically. Here's the photo album, and you're welcome to use these for non-commercial stuff. www.flickr.com/photos/scott...
Welp... a number of members of our deputation are testing positive for COVID this evening. No one is terribly sick, but if you were at #GC81, you might want to think about isolating for a bit until you're sure you're clear.

While at #GC81 I was honoured with a surprise gift of this silk chasuble and stole custom made by Fruit of the Vine Vestments. The giver expressed immense gratitude for my ministry. I continue to be humbled by this act of generosity and overwhelmed by the beauty of these vestments!
