The archenemies of Tomo, General Growl is one of Lord Shadowbane's members of the Makumar Brotherhood as both the muscles and necromancer of the group. Packed with brute strength and his wits, Growl will bruise and tear any poor soul like a tiny toothpick. With his new rank as the leader of his zombie horde, the Daku Kumfubezis or the Daku Reswalkers, the evil Bermuda Chimera uses his Moju Belt to summon his horde to attack innocent tribes and bring them back from the dead as his recruits. When not facing Tomo, General Growl will also face Tom's allies Komo, Chamel and even the Hero of Nintendo herself, Chibi Teddiami and her pack.

Tomo is a hero of his island, but every hero needs a villain. General Growl is the main antagonist of the Racboar's story.
