Managed to be both a week early and a week late for the #gentianfamily challenge!
This week a different location on the Purbeck Heaths revealed more gorgeous Marsh Gentian, plus Dorset Heath and Oblong-leaved Sundew, as well as plenty of Heather & Gorse with some fab Wasp Spiders.

My local dune system was so dry I didn’t think I would find anything for #Wildflowerhour but here is Common Centaury and those I did find were mostly really dried up. These being the best. I also spotted some Autumn Ladies Tresses too so a good walk was had!

Made a special visit to the @lincswildlife.bsky.social Robert's Field NR to check on the Autumn Gentians, one of very few populations in VC53. Not yet in flower, they were initially difficult to spot, but eventually we found over 30 - success!
