When he starts to develop feelings towards Mere, his wing feathers starts to change color. When they are purest, they are white, with a translucent flare. Light could sift through them. When the feelings hit him, some feathers transform to greyish brown. It happens gradually, slowly.

Cillien is bravest boy Alexois ever met. When Cillien lost his parents, a landlord kicked him and his toddler sister into the streets. Both of them wandered around the Brume until his little sister got too sick to walk and Cillien didn't have any other choice but to find an orphanage.

Pointing at Ishgard, next to the Brume. There Alexois was born, in a lowborn household.

Yet Merewina was born a faraway, somewhere in Garlemald. Unknown to her or to anyone. Soon after her birth, his father took her and ran away until he died in the snowy fields in Coerthas.

Hear me out. Modern setting. Merewina struggles in her work life and Wickhelm is the obnoxious old "friend" from her childhood who happens to share the same office booth. He bullies her (affectionately) to get her attention.

Merewina blushes the most, she can't help it. Alexois is in the middle ground, when he is extremely embarrassed his neck turns red. Wickhelm is a rare blusher. Only when he let's down his guard, then he shows his slightly reddish cheeks.

Hear me out. Modern setting. Alexois as a male stripper who needs money and Merewina, a shy artist in a slump who was tag along to a girls night out. She gets the best lap dance of the century and keeps staring at him like a starving artist.

Alexois is a WoL/main.

And the rest of them... Let me count the important ones: Lady Merewina, Wickhelm, Ajatar (latest addition), Lady Frine, Sophine, Tyon, Aibertain, Ciceroix, Yvelont, Nantain, Vielle, Ser Gaspard... and Ejlart!

14 in total.

Alexois and Wicky are the same Azem. His soul was split in half in the Source and both of them are unaware of this. Do they want to be one? Perhaps not, but they yearn for what the other one has. Alexois lacks the courage to be spontaneous, as Wicky and Wicky want Alexois' calm patience.

Last night I had a cute but sad idea. When Merewina dreams, the location changes, but it's always somewhere cold and snowy. Those dreams aren't how her nightmares usually start, but they aren't happy ones either, and she feels very isolated in these dreams.

In one of the scenarios, Alexois and Wicky are Merewina's bodyguards. Alex is the cool-collected, Wicky is the firestarter-shithead. Both loyal to the bone and ready to beat anyone who even dares to put finger on her.

Alexois had learnt to navigate along with people, being a servant in the house or a WoL on the battlefield. But there is a distance when it comes to opening up about himself. Almost all Scions notice this, but they let him have his privacy.

LRP That's Wickhelm. An absolute scoundrel but he is sweet to Merewina. One young lord got his fingers broken because of him. Wicky thought those fingers were far too busy on Merewina's waist when she danced with the lord and he saw her struggle to get away from the pushy lord.

Alexois has "helped" the detective on many occasions. Most of the time, he simply stands there and watches how the chaos unfolds itself. Nothing really faces him any more, but Hildi's cases are something unreal to him.

Deep down, Merewina is a pacifist, but if the situation gets dire, she will try all her persuasion skills to get out of the situation unscathed. All that stems from her background as being a Garlean. She doesn't want to become a savage everyone fears and knows.

The dragon boy has slain, slaughtered, and properly eaten a couple of humans in his lifetime. As the war ended, he has become a salty pickle, but it's funny how a little bit of tlc breaks his mind.

The dragon boy here knows how to slip into dreams. It's an aether thing. So he started his nightly visits after the festival, and the second meetup didn't go well. That was expected when big meat of hunk suddenly waltzes in her dream. The logic why he looks like that is...

Ajatar

In Finnish folklore, Ajatar (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈɑjɑtɑr]), is an evil female spirit.

The word “ajatar” is possibly derived from the Finnish word ajattaa, “to pursue”. The feminine suffix “-tar-” appears in several Finnish names, including a variation of Louhi (Louhetar, Loviatar, Louhiatar) and Syöjätär (syödä ‘to eat,’ with the feminine suffix of -tar, means ‘devourer, a vampire’).

Applying this to Ajatar, the verb ajaa is suffixed by the feminine “-tar,” translating as “female pursuer.” The name may have its root in aika ‘time’ as well, from where ajatar would be an equally regular derivative. Or both. Aika and ajaa might be etymologically connected through the sense of time, like death, hunting oneself.

ajattara, ajattaro (Jusl 1745; LPetri 1670 ajataro)
‘some evil spirit being; a nasty female forest elf who seduced hunters; a witch, a forest troll; a nightmare

Ajattara or ajattaro is an evil female mythological creature related to the forest in Finnish folklore. The Ajattara were perceived as different characters; they could be a ghost, a witch, a demon, a troll or a dragon.

Ajattara misled and frightened hunters and other forest travelers, which is possibly where their name comes from (ajaa harhaan ‘to mislead’). Typically an ajattara laid down next to a hunter sleeping in the woods, thus causing him to have nightmares.

ajakka (JuslLis; quite widely dialected)
e.g. ‘fast-moving, shouting

This is the dragon who has a crush on Merewina. He knows what happened to Shiva, so he pushes the idea into a corner of his heart. He has met her only couple times yet he has slipped in her dreams more than few times by his own design.
