For many, the result is an incomplete, not very usable framework with unclear follow-up processes, calling into question 2 years of technical work.

Unlocking negotiations on the #GGA will require dialogue on indicators, removing remaining barriers and agreeing on a post-Belém pathway.
🔎However, the adoption of indicators must be accompanied by financial commitments that meet the demands of countries in the Global South.

Yesterday, an informal note was released introducing a reference to a possible new finance goal for adaptation.
Strong divergences remain on the means of implementation and on whether to establish a new goal.
Discussions will continue today.
