Auf einem Blatt Papier liegen Gummibärchen, die die Vererbung darstellen.
Der 6 jährige und ein 9 jähriger hatten heute im
Biokurs Genetik.

Die Dozentin hatte es anhand Mäusen aus Knete erklärt.
Bei der Präsentation (da kamen wir Eltern zur Abholung) hatte der 6 jährige Gummibärchen zur Darstellung benutzt. Das ging Zack Zack. 😅 Verblüffend.

genau an diese Kinder. Denn sie (nicht alle) werden elendig in der Grundschule ‚verrotten‘.
Und ja, ich habe Angst, dass mein Kind später keine Zusage für solch eine Klasse bekäme.
Er langweilt sich ja jetzt schon. Wie soll das erst in einer „normalen“ Klasse später werden?

Der unglaublich, krass unterforderte 6 jährige geht heute endlich wieder zum Programmieren. Ich hoffe, dass es ihn ein winzig kleines bisschen aus der Unterforderung holen kann. Im Moment weiß ich nicht, wie ich ihm helfen kann. 😔🙁

In 2022 I got my #specialed preschool record, a psych eval which clearly outlined my #autism symptoms. This confirmed my suspicions abt autism, but I was surprised to find that they gave me an IQ test and my IQ was only 84. The reason I was surprised was bc my parents told me I was a #giftedchild

These kids literally don’t want to do anything that is difficult for them. I just had them draw Celtic knotwork, which admittedly is confusing until you get going. It requires visualizing and they whined the entire time “I’m cooked. This is stupid.”
My wife teaches the "gifted" kids, this is what she's up against.
Are they really gifted (she doesn't do that designation) if they're not curious and open to learning?
