I’m on a Speyside whisky trip for the next few days and a visit to Glenallachie Distillery was a first day highlight.
Some fantastic expressions sampled in a beautiful location. We were well looked after by the knowledgeable, friendly staff.

Auf dem Tisch steht ein offenes Paket. Davor halte ich eine Flasche Whisky von GlenAllachie in der Hand. Es handelt sich um die erste Ausgabe der Sinteis-Serie aus der Destillerie, die die Synthese von sehr gegensätzlichen Holzarten beleuchtet. Dieser Whisky reifte gut 11 Jahre in Fässern aus Chinquapin-Eiche und Fässern, die mit Pedro Ximénez Sherry vorbelegt waren.
