My folks took us to #GlowWild at Wakehurst Place last night and it was utterly enchanting. I highly recommend it if you're able to get tickets.

NB: it helps if you check your wheelchair is fully charged before going, so it doesn't run out of battery a few hundred metres before the end. Ahem. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😄

The local zoo has been having a Chinese lantern festival for the past month or so. I finally got a chance to check it out tonight. Made it through almost all of it before it started raining, but I was completely drenched by the time we got back to the car. It was pretty, tho. #GlowWild #ErieZoo

Wakehurst Place’s enchanting #GlowWild has become one of my Christmas highlights. This year didn’t disappoint.

So hard to describe! Small lanterns on a pond. They look like organic shapes & make me think of fairy homes or something. It's dark but the sky looks navy. Trees to either side lit in orange shades. It's other worldly, eerie & magical!

Dark but one tree lit up in orange with lit up leaf sculptures in the branches. In front are deer sculptures, all made from willow & tissue, in white & lit up. There's also an owl lantern in the tree. Like a cutesy woodland scene.

On a cold, dark winters night it is hard to beat a light trail. We popped along to #glowwild at Wakehurst Place. My favourite was the ⛵ under the 🌙 ⭐
