The Elizabethan house at Wakehurst Place, lit from below in gently merging shades of yellow, green and red. It stands out against the sky, with hedges silhouetted against its brightness. A path is visible leading towards the house between the hedges, and visible on the path is a wire and fabric sculpture of a large wolf lit white from inside. The wolf is standing in a posture of readiness with its head raised as if howling.
My folks took us to #GlowWild at Wakehurst Place last night and it was utterly enchanting. I highly recommend it if you're able to get tickets.
NB: it helps if you check your wheelchair is fully charged before going, so it doesn't run out of battery a few hundred metres before the end. Ahem. 🤦🏻♀️ 😄
