one of the Holy Order guards shoves Marc (also masked up like the other priest-guards) while running off with the rest of the guards, telling Marc: "finish the job on the Devil's Head / if you want to reach that goal of yours, Gunvald." the setting is outdoors at nighttime at a camp with a burning altar + large tent behind the guards, and a magenta/gold aura streaming from the guards onto the top of the tent like a fiery light pillar.

the spirit call (the Holy Order communicating in a blinding white void where their bodies are represented thru nude gold + magenta forms) ends with the other members of the Holy Order ominously inquiring how the Auclairs "obtain(ed) a spiritual spawn endowed -out- of the Will of God", referring to Jonah (Marc's son) which March (Holy Order member pictured here + ML of the story) is visibly shook by, this scene transitions back into reality w/ the night sky + the light pillar taking the place of Marc in the next scroll down (not pictured here, read the comic to see the transition~)

left side is from the latest CH57 where Marc (masked up like all the other priests) sadly asks why they can't just "finish the job on the Machines itself? the headchips won't be a concern then..." the other members of the Holy Order shift away from Marc, not answering right side is CH54 throwback flashback reminder of Marc witnessing the Holy Order using the Machines for something, rather than blessing the relics as they have told. it takes place inside a tent that is technically closed off to all but the Celestial Priests (the priests in white, which Marc + these guards are all in black)
