Busy #bees & others. Many different bee and wasp species were working my patch of #GoldenAlexanders, #Zizia aurea (L.). Honeybees, yellow jackets, thread-waisted-, paper-, & potter wasps. The air was alive with comings and goings and sweetened by the subtle fragrance of the #Apiaceae blooms.
