A small, dark and tame river bisects the landscape diagonally, leafless beech trees line both sides of the river bank and on the left bank trees roots have been exposed by erosion.

Last night’s bio-fluorescent walk at Golitha Falls saw two hours race by. Glad to find many others as enthused by the way it makes us look at lichen, fungi and invertebrates in a whole new way. Good morning from me walking at #GolithaFalls (actually looking waterfall-like) near St.Cleer on the edge of Bodmin Moor in #Cornwall. Beautiful today - should be lovely walking weather up on the moors. Sadly, I'm off to Falmouth to return son number 3 to his uni.
