I suppose I could've cropped it.

A panoramic view of the Firth of Forth from the top of the Fife Cantilever last night. The sky is on fire with bright pink/red clouds. The photo is a composite of 14 photos that I have rush edited. It was a great evening.

Not a wasted evening.

A 'camera' made up of a mish mash of parts of various previous projects and ideas. A Bronica 40mm ETRS lens housed in a 3D printed (by the esteemed My Forster) housing and mounted on a Copal 0 shutter. The lens is on a Mercury camera helicoid, a 20mm spacer, and XL 'camera body'. The back is made up of a Cameradactyl 2x3 graflox mount with a Singer Graflex RH20 (6x7 on 220 film) roll film holder. If it works it'll be a 40mm Xpan-a-like for a total spend of less than £400!
The so called camera split into its constituent parts. The RH20 back and the black and pro orange back in front. The mercury body, the lens set, and a Horseman viewer at the back right.
Close up of the focusing screen of the Horseman viewer. This will allow me to get critical focus and composure if I mount the camera on a tripod. I have masked the screen to show the actual image size including the sprockets. I have just realised I will need a viewfinder for handheld work.
Hatching DIY panoramic plans.

As big as this rig is, I keep forgetting to take it out.

Colour Blind Prisms
A forgotten roll of Fomapan 100 from my trip to Northern Saskatchewan last fall. Used the 180mm lens on the Fuji GX617 to try and frame up the chaotic backlit leaves.

The red light of the late sun hits the wharf at Newhaven harbour. The sky and harbour are dark and moody.
Good morning! How are we all today? Feeling positive?!
One of my favourites for the #SundaySlideShow, a glorious bit of last light under stormy skies at Newhaven harbour.
