This was one of the coolest events I have ever been a part of and I’m still proud of myself for finishing and completing my goal.
The marathon goes from Two Harbors to along Lake Superior and finishes by the bridge in Duluth. There were 10K participants

I did not think I would like Duluth as much as I did! I had a great weekend running the Grandmas Marathon! I hope I can make it back and run it again!

My son ran his first ever marathon at Grandma’s this morning in Duluth.
Finished in 2:59:46
I am endlessly PROUD of him, having stuck to his training program & put in over 800 miles along the way. His splits were nearly perfect, consistent to nearly a 1 second variance.

I did it. A self-motivated goal with a lot of runs when I didn’t want to go. I’m proud of myself.

Grandmas Marathon organizers reported that their 2024 event had a total economic impact of $40 million on the #Duluth area, double the impact from 2019 when it was last measured.

Long shot but does anyone have a connection to someone who works at #GrandmasMarathon in Duluth? I have a friend who is a 4x Olympian with an incredible backstory who just ran insane marathon times 7x in 7 days but because she doesn’t have a recent “elite time” they won’t let her in. Help please!
