2023 JV pretty much had darker ears now and the stripes and I just kept messing with different styles for them. Loved messing with some video game-esque proportions with him.

2021 saw JV getting more stripes because tigers were speaking to me and I wanted to bring back that dragon/monster form in his original sketches. Really pushed a lightning theme with it at first.

As much as I tried to make JV more puppety I feel like he always kinda...didnt come off that way. Which is okay honestly. He was just a blast to draw and I was loving this new direction for me.

JV was created in late 2019 and by 2020 the attempt at a human/puppet sona quickly turned monstery. Growing up I loved dragons I loved big teethy monsters and around this time I was also really diggin puppets with my bud @triniitea.bsky.social

found the original concepts for JV. Around this time I was feeling pretty lost. I felt like I'd spent years developing work that I thought others wanted to see. JV ended up being a sona and outlet to start reconnecting with what I wanted.
