This is the side of the rock that I am considering the "bottom," though there technically isn't one.

I am still developing a style, so I like to outline the possibilities I see and then slowly edit until the shape is (hopefully) pleasing to me, and there are no or few "imperfections." So the rock will probably look completely different when I'm ready to stop working on it.

Im going to level out those steep curved edges on the ridges quite a bit, they are too difficult for me to sand.

I think there are some black dendrites in this rock, but I don't know anything about them yet!

Not exactly "before" pictures (as I forgot to take those), but some "not-finished" photos of this rock I am shaping! It is green💚. That is all.
