Saw a post saying Greta Thunberg was shielded from crisism because of her young age, and saying now they can openly criticize her as she's an adult woman now. But what I've seen is Greta Thunberg being targeted more just because she was young, her opinions were not heard but instead rejected by just calling her a school girl, she was criticized for the movement she started (Friday for future) saying she's doing this just to skip school, and everything she does still receives the same criticism even now that she is 22. Greta has done things that i can just hope to do, most people in my generation don't have the money or privilege to join protests, as an international student being in a protest and police deciding to arrest us we're straight getting depoted. Her going to Gaza isn't for her personal benefits or increasing her popularity. She, with all the other brave people on that boat went there knowing what happened to boats who went there before theirs and people from their own group getting killed by the government of Israel, they went there to show injustice done by Israel and if they were able to reach Gaza they'll show actual condition of people there and break through the misinformation. i believe that the younger generation is the one who is going to live in the future where younger generations aren't allowed to have any say in it, older almost dead zombies are in power who are just destroying the laws that protect us from discrimination, the very planet where we live on, and our future. So we should have a right to speak without getting suppressed or dismissed for being younger
