Aaaand another one... Hiding between two sheds this time.
This little Stoke Red has rotted & dried to a crispy ball. But a pip has still germinated. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š Now snuggled down in damp compost next to the previous one. ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐ŸŽ

Germinating apple pip from inside the remains of a Stoke Red cider apple from last year

Germinating apple pip from inside the remains of a Stoke Red cider apple from last year

Wandering round the sheds & spotted this speck of green. This is the remains of one of last year's Stoke Red cider apples & one of the pips has survived to germinate. As it looked pleased to see me, the whole lot is now sat in a pot of damp compost to see what develops. ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŽ
