A small blue pot with an opening at the top and then three on the sides. It had broken so I super glued it back together and I might paint the super glued areas with gold to make it pretty like that Japanese style. I transplanted two of my beautiful basil starts into it on top and then planted chives in the three outside parts.
The leek I planted after using it from the grocery store is growing really fast. Behind it is a tray full of onion seedlings that are doing well..
I discovered that the containers I got for cereal, which we don't really eat anymore, are the perfect size for both washing and storing celery and carrots, taking up much less space in the fridge.
A shot of the large area in the backyard where the New Garden has gone in. The blocks in front of it will go back in and many more will be added. That will be the corn growing area. A large white trellis is for beans and next to it is a smaller green one I built for peas. The gate which my husband is currently working on and finishing is on the ground. It is all fenced in otherwise and I am very excited to get more sown out there.
