Grumman F-14A "Tomcat" at Palm Springs Air Museum (Palm Springs, California), and my dog Sadie. Some classic car that I can't identify, too. The aircraft on the left that is barely in frame I believe is a Republic F-105 "Thunderchief." Mamiya 7 w/ KODAK Ektachrome 100 The F-14A/B "Tomcat" earns its nickname "Turkey" due to its appearance when in the landing configuration, resembling a Turkey with all of its feathers (or, flight control surfaces in this case) on display. Took me a couple hours of digging around in in nearly every scan from the past year to find this one.
