Finished my LWS3 replay yesterday and I can now confidently say that none of my gfs or my commanders took that, pardon me, stupid Shining Blade oath
I'm not as irked by it as the first time around, but I still think it's unnecessary. Good thing they didn't bring it up again so far. Afaik #gwtalkies
Dialogue snippet from the MMORPG Guild Wars 2. It is part of the Living World Season 3 chapter 'Taimi's Game'. The text uses my character Naversa's name as the commander's name and says: Naversa: "The horribly disgusting body part of an even more horribly disgusting giant bug that you keep in the despicable blighting pod fluid?" Naversa: "Yes, I remember, despite desperately trying to forget."
As much as I love the humor in FFXIV, I am doing way, WAY better with this dry, cynic kind of humor 😂
Sadly, a text log can't really do justice to how much the voice acting does to enhance the whole thing, but still, things like these makes the story so fun for me xD #gwtalkies

I love the Dragon's End fight, it's really fun, mechanically divers and I love being a lil whisp 😂
Also maybe unpopular opinion but I actually like the Zakiros meta 😳

Eh, I am generally not that much of a fan of the adventures, they are okay I guess. If anything, I think the races are quite fun. Oh. And Salmon Run ofc, I still tend to forget about that 😂

Too many 😭 I like most of the Sylvari cultural armors, BIG fan of the Rift Hunter and Astral Ward armor sets, Warbeast, Light Carapace, Spearmarshal...
As for weapons, Aurene/Elder Dragon weapons, Nevermore, Astralaria, Equinox... the list goes on 😩

Late bc uhh I'm super out of the loop when it comes to GW2 lore. I guess Joko's harem was funny x'D And I remember a Critical Role reference in LW4 Season 1 which I celebrated back then. Though I am kinda really into everything Astral Ward these days 👀

Hmmm does the Nightmare Court count? Bc I don't really care for most organizations that much. I think the NC is interesting in that the fundamental idea they have isn't so bad, but their methods are. Lots of parallels to RL religions if you think about it #gwtalkies
Day14: Player Voiceline
NGL I enjoy a LOT of the EoD elite voicelines bc you clearly hear that the commander is absolutely done and goes unhinged mode (Untamed, Specter and arguably Virtuoso)
But honestly? Personally nothing can beat good old 'I am death incarnate' #gwtalkies
Day13: Fav VA
I'm repeating myself, but the VA for the male Sylvari commander is absolute PEAK performance
The snark, the sass, the angst, the 'commanding voice' that just makes you go 😳😳😳
Brandon Bale is doing an exceptional job in this game and only has gotten better over the years #gwtalkies
Day12: Fav Ally
Trahearne. He's my favorite NPC in the whole game and I'm still a bit salty how he was treated in the end, but it was also a fitting end in its own way
Honorable mention to Canach bc that guy's snark and humor is unmatched

In this house we stan King Palawa Ignacious Joko!
No seriously, he was just the most interesting antagonist to me, aside from the dragons, especially Mordremoth and Kralkatorrik.

I somehow really enjoy all the 'dragon' maps, Dragon's Stand, Dragonfall and Dragon's End. Tho Maguuma in general is a fav, I always get goosebumps whenever I look too long at the airships in Verdant Brink

Naversa, my main, never was the commander, that was his partner's fate. But he DID become the Wayfinder in SotO instead of Daren and I've become kinda attached to the title. I even did the achievements to have it in game 😂 #gwtalkies

Tbf I haven't played all of them, but my fav is the one about Malyck. I'm forever sad they dropped the thread about a second sylvari tree (you could argue it was turned into a Blighted Tree but afaik we never got confirmation on that)

Tough one. If you asked me a month ago I probably would have said Mirage but now? I tried a lot of Elites lately and there are so many fun ones. Chrono, Virtuoso (I'm mesmer biased), Untamed, Deadeye, Vindicator, good ol' Reaper, Dragonhunter... can't really pick one 😭

Tarir. Does Tarir count? I say Tarir counts. I've been fascinated by that place since I first stepped into it. It's something magical.
If it has to be a populated, hub zone like city, I'd probably say the Wizard's Tower, even if the lag is horrible sometimes x'D
