little mottled stone path bumpy yet beautiful makes a fun-size loop around the magnolia her big poofy flowers pale pink, soft and sweet around her lie ferns and a number of white trillium that's divisible by three lining the path are bluebells hunched over as if they're sad they're just guarding their queen, protectors - you'll have to beat their toxin to get to that tree and every morning I slowly (I am not fast any more) stroll around that loop taking in the splendor that nature has provided the scents, the brilliant colors and it reminds me that there is plenty of good in this world after all

shamed for so long for being myself and becoming who I wanted to be that I hid behind broken masks while others tried so hard again and again to manipulate me into whatever version of me they wanted me to be but stubbornness always wins, don't you know? no lenity for me until I meet their standards, but I would rather think for myself, go on adventures and meet people from all over the world I'm not scared like you I'll put myself out there unashamed and an amazing version of me always with room for improvement
