Andy Warhol created this piece based on a newspaper ad for cosmetic surgery. It was displayed at department store Bonwit Teller who was owned by American fashion designer Halston in the 1970s. Paul Rudolph designed Halston’s Upper East Side townhouse that featured the Rolling dining chair. The townhouse also held many after-parties and gatherings from Studio 54….if these pieces could talk.

Watching the documentary by Whitney Sadler Smith of #SouthernCharm fame called Ultrasuede: In Search of #Halston & it’s fascinating! I can’t believe the list of people he got to do interviews! Liza is everything!
