A white round cake from Costco that says “Happy Bastille Day” in blue icing, but it’s like the decorator was a little bit drunk because it’s not very neat and extra wobbly. Also there are three daisies in the color of the French flag (blue, white, red) and while I appreciate the effort of following my special requests, I’m pretty sure I could have made better looking flowers than that. Ah, well, it’s the inside that counts.

My birthday isn’t as exciting to celebrate as it used to be, so I’m finding new excuses for cake today (although it looks like the Costco bakery department may have enjoyed a little too much champagne while decorating it 😂). C’est la vie! #HappyBastilleDay
