10 hours 30 mins to run 53 miles up hill and down dale, across moors, through villages, all with no head torch needed at the end. 36th male finisher out of a field of 270 odd. From Guisborough to Helmsley along the Cleveland Way. Epic.

Final checkpoint passed, 9 mi to finish at White Horse. I think that unless he pours some extra speed on he is looking at 10 hrs 25 mins or so. I think it's a foregone conclusion that he will not need his head torch though! Winning!

He's made it through the next to last check point before the finish at 39 miles, Sneck Point. I'm no mathematician, but I think he's on target for 10 hours if the next 14 miles go as well.

I did a walk too...not quite as tough.

First drop bag check point (I believe) at Clay Bank (unless he used Kildale). He's about 20 miles and I'd hazard to say he is running at less than 4 hrs marathon pace at this rate. He's a bloody machine!

Now for a nice cup of tea before I go on my own little adventure!
