Baile funk style beats feel so impossible to program on tracker seeing as there is a rigid 16 note grid. I think I cracked the code using a mix of swing, retriggers and odd global groove change ups to emulate triplets.

Spreadsheet with a row for "Hangzhou Zhongke" highlighted. The spreadsheet is the consolidated screening list from US gov.

The module in question is from "Hangzhou Zhongke", which looks like it's on screening list from 2021 and thus requires more effort to purchase from. So I'm guessing the manufacturer just didn't populate the GPS and sold that version instead. Always fun stuff like that with #hardwareproduction (2/2).

I bought this boat radio that is available in two versions: with & without GPS. I could *only* find the non-GPS one so bought that with the idea to add back GPS. The footprint is a perfect match for a low-cost module from LCSC. So why the lack of GPS version in market? (1/2) #hardwareproduction
