Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. Western Sydney has permanent flocks…plenty of water and food for them in the city.
A heritage house, I think, in Good Street Harris Park. The cockatoos feed on the fruit of the trees in the front yard.
Little Black Cormorants enjoying a dip in a creek now a cemented storm water drain. The drain prevents rain water from flooding the streets. The run off water would be very polluted. Not potable.
The ubiquitous Rock Pigeons enjoying a meal provided by a tenant of this apartment block.
Some photos of Harris Park, a suburb between Granville and Parramatta. #harrispark #dharug #parramatta #birds
#HarrisPark upgrades are complete
Shoreline restoration from Queen St to Blackfriars Bridge includes a naturalized riverbank, new lookout, better river access, upgraded pathways & 74 new trees
These changes support wildlife, reduce erosion & improve the park for everyone
