Heavy Trip Heavy Trip, müzikseverlerin ve komedi tutkunlarının keyifle izleyebileceği bir film. Finlandiya'nın uzak bir köyünden, hayalleri büyük ama imkanları kısıtlı bir grup metal müziği tutkunu gencin, Norveç'teki dev bir metal festivaline katılabilmek için verdikleri mücadeleyi anlatıyor. Juuso Laatio ve Jukka Vidgren'in yönettiği bu komedi filmi, müzikle dolu, çılgınca eğlenceli bir yolculuk sunarken, izleyiciyi metalin ne kadar tutkulu bir yaşam tarzı olduğuna dair hem güldürüyor hem de düşündürüyor. Film, Finlandiya'nın kırsal bir köyünde sıradan bir hayat süren Turo’nun (Johannes Holopainen) hikayesiyle başlar. Turo, grubu Impaled Rektum’un vokalistidir. Ancak yıllardır sadece kendi aralarında prova yapmış ve hiçbir zaman gerçek bir sahne deneyimi yaşamamışlardır. Bir gün, grup Norveç’teki büyük bir metal festivaline davet alır.
