Used to be I could barely see one of you without seeing or at least hearing about the other.” “I can’t give away his location.” “You can’t seem to give away a lot other than orders these days,” Cloud retorts quickly, shifting his weight, arms still crossed. If he’s coming off a bit intimidating, it’s by design. He’s sick of doing favors for powerful people who only share half-truths. It’s one thing when Rufus does it, can’t ask a chocobo to change its feathers, but Reeve is supposed to be trustworthy. A friend.
