In the Underdark. At first near the Myconids as they slowly make the Arcane Tower livable. Halsin ventures down for short stays occasionally (sometimes he brings owlbear bby). Star grows to love it, Veryn loves it immediately.

#Veryn was raised predominately by his human mother in the city, so he’s curious about being more in touch w/his wood elf ancestry. As for (spawn) Astarion’s kin, yes, Veryn gets along w/them. #Veryn is empathetic…a good listener but he has a wall up. He’s so good at defending himself that others don’t even realize he’s withholding. He shows warmth but it takes an Herculean effort to get him to be truly vulnerable. Astarion learns quickly how to turn the tables on him #asteryn #bloodpeach
