a UNIQUE no doubt one of a kind vintage 1980s 90s handmade sterling silver with anodized aluminum rods post-modernist dimensional geometric design bangle bracelet by acclaimed jewelry designer, metalsmith, and educator Helen Shirk (b. 1942). A simple bangle that twice encircles the wrist with heavy gauge sterling wire with a half-circle joining the two ends at top, and with four anodized aluminum rods perched at top in a dimensional geometric design that echoes that heavy sterling wire of the bangle but in colors! Such a unique and thoughtful design, the work of a master!
This bracelet measures just over 1" wide at top, the inside diameter is 2.5" and is perfectly round as shown, and the bracelet weighs 28.1 grams total. Marked as shown, "H. Shirk" inside the band of the bracelet. Tested and guaranteed to be as described. Excellent vintage condition.
