In closing, #HellOfTheLivingDead is boring (though it was nice to see #MargieNewton topless). Some say the film is unintentionally hilarious - but I disagree. That said, after naming the virus they engineered “Sweet Death” - I don’t know why the boss scientist was so horrified by the results. Ⓐ
In the film #HellOfTheLivingDead, the heroine concludes the virus “Sweet Death” was created to make the humans of the #ThirdWorld EAT EACH OTHER (because global overpopulation is a “problem” for the #IndustrializedWorld). Of course, the film says nothing about capitalism’s actual “needs”. Ⓐ
I can’t figure out why, but in the film #HellOfTheLivingDead, the commandos certainly know how to expertly aim their guns - BUT after figuring out ONLY headshots “kill” zombies, the commandos keep pointlessly shooting zombies in their torsos. I guess that’s a case of #MovieLogic. Ⓐ
So shortly after #HellOfTheLivingDead begins, we follow the adventures of four commandos. The commandos are psychopaths, given their penchant for disarming gunmen AND THEN slitting their throats. So they’re naturally suited to battle zombies (which they do, after slaughtering some terrorists). Ⓐ
Re-watched #HellOfTheLivingDead - a gory zombie movie about a green gas that turns people into zombies. So you’d think it is a type of chemical, but no - it’s actually a virus! Some elements of the film were clearly imitating the original #DawnOfTheDead - though I wouldn’t call it a ripoff. Ⓐ
