A drawing of a heraldic shield with elaborately curled edges. It's split into four quadrants, with the upper left and bottom right decorated with a vair (squirrel fur) pattern in purple and yellow, and the opposite quadrants in solid green. Centered in the shield is a clown in a pierrot-like outfit wearing a big two-pointed jester hat. Under the crest is a curled ribbon reading VIVAT LEVITATE.
#heraldecember2024 30: Viva
I found the French phrase "vive la bagatelle," basically "long live frivolous nonsense," expressing a carefree attitude, and set out to make a crest to match. The latin VIVAT LEVITATE is a rough translation of the sentiment, closer to "he lives lightly." #heraldecember
