some buildings in Minneapolis, edited to have the trans pride colors be loud and proud. I can honestly say I have never felt more like I could be myself than when I moved to this city. It really hit me during my first actual pride celebration. The different presentations of gender, the body shapes, the fashion, everyone was unapologetic in their presentation of themselves. With that I gained the confidence to also be more authentic in my presentation and mannerisms. To embrace the queer, to welcome the different, to be me without remorse.
