A photo of a Black Walnut tree. It is a part of a grove of walnut trees planted in 1957. Behind the dark shaded trunk is an apartment building and another black walnut tree. The tree branches and limbs stretch up about fifteen metres, or fifty feet and has very lush green leaves.

Photo of five young Mallard ducks that we photographed earlier in May(see next photo for comparison). They've grown considerably and are of adult size. They're currently relaxing along the shore of one of the manmade ponds along our walking path.

The new #orchard has had a tough year. Extremely cold winter followed by moth/caterpillar attack in spring, lack of sunshine during the summer & now it is flooded. No wonder there was not a single fruit on any of the 65 trees. Will 2024 destroy these #heritagetrees completely?
