14. Rifts Conversion Book 1st Edition (1991) It's an insane amount of monsters and playable races! And there's also some rules clarifications and conversion notes on playing super heroes and fantasy characters in Rifts. Don't let the title fool you. By page count, this is a monster book. But there is oh-so-much more to talk about as well. Support Palladium Books by purchasing the Revised Edition of this book. U-Con 2025

I'm currently signed up to play #ADnD and #HeroesUnlimited at U-Con 2025, so I figured I better reread the rulebooks before the con.

Turns out I don't own a copy of Heroes Unlimited. Oops! Is it still in print? You can never be sure with #PalladiumBooks.

I bought that #HeroesUnlimited book at The Comic Gallery, one of four #comicbook stores owned by Gary Reed in the 1980s. Gary apparently worked on one #PalladiumBooks #RobotechRPG product, too.

This "Cobalt Blue" #comicbook is a flipbook with "Justice Machine" issue 5 on the other side. In 1985, Siembieda wrote a Justice Machine supplement for #HeroesUnlimited.

The connections between #PalladiumBooks and Noble Comics are a footnote in #TTRPG history that only locals like me remember.

My only gaming-related purchase at this month's Ypsilanti #FleaMarket is a 1983 Michigan-made #comicbook featuring contributions by two #TTRPG artist/designers -- inking by #VillainsAndVigilantes' Jeff Dee and coloring by #HeroesUnlimited's Kevin Siembieda.

This week I joined a Heroes Unlimited RPG game,

We random rolled every aspect of our characters!

But the one series I fell in love with thematically, bought every book I could get my hands on, and yet somehow NEVER got to play or GM, was #AberrantRPG by #WhiteWolfGameStudios. The Superhero genre called to me (Loved #HeroesUnlimited for that), and while I was leery of #VtM and the like...

I'm rolling up some #HeroesUnlimited characters for a team of powered misfits named "The Second String."

So far, the team is just Gremlin (a mutant) and The Gray (an alien with powers).
