I'm SO delighted that Roy Cox (who often looks after the maintenance of my horns) spotted these beautiful #HiddenHorns in the ceiling of the Episcopal Palace (Paço do Bispo) in Porto,
I met up recently with my fabulous colleague Rachel Nierenberg and was delighted when I clocked the design of her shirt. Apparently spotted by some of her friends (what excellent friends!) in a thrift shop and bought for her. #HiddenHorns
@annekescott.bsky.social are these, just possibly, #HiddenHorns ?!
A selection of the #HiddenHorns in the bar (Resch & Lieblich) next to the stage door of Salzburg's Großes Festspielhaus
The final #HiddenHornPlayer and #HiddenHorns from my trip to @metcloisters.bsky.social and I was fascinated to find this one! This is part of "The Cloisters Playing Cards" which date from c.1475–80 (South Netherlandish, Burgundian territories).
Hang on to your hats, folks! So whilst I was here in NYC for the Teatro Nuovo project I took a trip to the @metcloisters.bsky.social and, ohhhhhh, very many #HiddenHorns and #HiddenHornPlayers were found. Let's start off with this one, shall we?
I'm a sucker for this sort of candelabra! These #HiddenHorns were spotted by my colleague Emmanuel Frankenburg and can be found in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence!
How about these ones? What appears to be a handful (I think I can see three?) #HiddenHorns above a side door at the Leipzig Opera House!
I don't normally include cornucopia in my #HiddenHorns because, as a symbol of wealth and fruitfulness, they can be rather ubiquitous in some places. However these two caught my eye in Leipzig just now and I think they make a wonderful pair.
@EnsemblePygamlion are in beautiful Bordeaux tonight - I city we come to often but here's a pair of #HiddenHorns that I've never spotted here before.
It might feel like "low hanging fruit" but I always like spying how various countries have #HiddenHorns incorporated into their logos/signs for their postal services, harking back to the use of postal horns throughout the world.
Aren't these striking? These #HiddenHorns were spotted by Graham Stroud on the walls of the Teatro Accademico in Castelfranco Veneto last year. Wonderful things!
Hooray for #ScoreFollower! My piece [S]urge was selected in the Spring 2024 #FollowMyScore call for works. It's an oldie but goodie, from the [brackets] period. #Platform4 #hiddenhorns #strings youtu.be/X0hUmYXJ7gM?...
