Just watched #SpikeLee’s new #HighestAndLowest, and it’s decent. It was entertaining.

But compared to #Kurosawa’s _High and Low_, it’s just much simpler. The original is so much denser, with more intensity, more pathos. It’s a much better movie.

But I’m glad to see someone give it a go.
